A PERK @ work

We all get little "perks" at work right?...(At least I hope ya'll do).

Well here at Cabela's we get an "Employee Discount" weekend were any employee or their extended family,(brother, sister, or direct in-law's) can get the same employee discount. BUT, during this sale ALL empoyee's get a 50% discount from the lowest marked price on all items, under $300, out of the Bargain Cave! I got such good deals on stuff I ALMOST feel guilty about it... At least $400 worth of "regular retail" stuff for about $150 dollar. Then I used my Cabela's "Club Points" from my Cabela's credit card and saved another $120 Dollars.
It ended up I got a boat load of stuff for about $30 dollars.

I still have tomorrow to get a "green sheet" item. Thats were I can get a high dollar item for COST! Thinking of a nice new portable tree stand but my mind changes every 15 minutes...I'll let you know.

I have never felt that way during a shopping trip...Like a kid in a candy store...Giddy.

Great buys for sure Big Slick!! Congrats on the spectacular shopping trip! I have thought about applying for a part time job at the Cabela's we have down here, but I would never bring home a paycheck as it would all funnel right back to them and then some.... :ROTFLMAO:    :rock:

That happened to me the first 3 paychecks but I have enough toys for now.
