Fishing is very sporadic in the area, with cold fronts and rain dropping the surface temps down 4-6 degrees. This will change with stable weather, but walleyes are in the 19+ depth, bass the same.
The conditions are the same in most of the lakes. Fishing should become better within two to three days when some stability hits.
Burntside surface temp is around 66-68 degrees, with the temp at about 18 feet being the same. Trout are being caught in the 70-80 foot area.
I'll try to get a mid week report if the fishing changes dramatically.

For up to the minute fishing reports, call me at 218-365-4744 before 10 am daily. I have 45 years fishing experience in the Ely area, and have owned and operated the Great Outdoors Bait & Tackle for 23 years (over five times longer than any other current shop owner within a 40+ mile radius) If I don't have an answer for you,  will call someone that does, and get back to you. Thank you
