Congrats AWB.  I still have a week or so to find out about the MBRB hunts.  If the St Cloud proficiency test is like MBRBs, you should do fine.

Happy hunting and remember -- "A clean kill or no kill...."  I love that one.

plus the test really shouldnt be tough, i mean 5 out of 6 arrows in a nine inch circle at 20 yards. if you can do that in my opinion you shouldn't be out hunting.

Well i just found out that i didn't get drawn, so there goes a good part of my season. Now i will have to drive long distances to hunt but oh well, maybe next year.

If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?

Bummer.  Well hopefully they'll give you the preference next year.  Some clubs will let you earn points for each year you don't get drawn so you don't constantly get skipped.

Congrats to you!!
I hunted it two years ago and passed on a lot of small does and one small buck....never filled my tag there.  I put most of my time in at Neenah Creek just because its close to the house. Did not get chosen last year but got picked again this year. I will be out there again this year hoping for better results.
I came across this nice buck out there on the why to the stand two years ago. I am thinking it was a car-hit... (not to far off the road) Checked it over and there was not a mark on it....to bad it was big. The coyotes ate well on him for a while. Took the pic's and cut the rack off.

Ritz you should have gotten a free possesion tag from the dnr before cutting the antlers off.  You could get into trouble from a conservation officer.  They could write you a ticket for poaching.
Anything that is free is worth saving up for.
