A few weeks ago while unpacking some stuff I ran into this..Thought since most of you are the outdoorsman type I thought I would share this with you all. It was written by a Monsignor Bernard powers:

A Day With God

To go to a cabin in the woods
and spend a day with God...
To see a bird in flight
    and converse with God...
To know the stillness of a forest
and listen to the voice of God...
To hear the motion of the lake
and feel the presence of God...
To enjoy the freshness of a breeze
and sense the joy of God...
To sit amidst the quiet of nature
and be caught by the love of God...
To climb to the top of the hill
and see the greatness of God..
To watch the jump of a squirrel
and know the surprise of God..
To examine the structure of a stone
and know the diversity of God...
To listen to birds in song
and here the music of God...
To feel the life of nature
and know the creativity of God...
To behold the splendor of a setting sun
and get lost in the beauty of God...
To come from a cabin in the woods
and know that you have seen God...
This is a day with God...
    enjoyed.

I have read this every morning while brushing my teeth..I think it is so neat...Thanks for letting me share... Have a great Day!Cathy

That is pretty cool, it reminds me of the slang saying.....I would rather be fishing and thinking of God then being in church and wishing I was fishing.........LUVNLIFE
