We got out to the dam around 5 pm got all are gear ready and walked out to the spot. We fished there for a while without any success so we moved to where i seen and had on a couple of carp the night before. After about 30 min I watched one jump and i casted over there and my bobber started going under so i set the hook and missed i didnt give him enough time went back to fishing no biggy. 20 minutes later wallace hooks into one its a nice carp he has it on for along time until hick fisher(Josh) starts reeling in his line and makes wallace loose his fish.

so wallace gets all mad and starts hitting josh. 15 min. later josh gets a bite and sets the hook and gets the fish on while he set the hook wallace gave josh a big sac tap. so that is why josh is reeling in the fish sitting down

So after a few more misses we are fishing again and i just start to reel in my rod when i hook into a little northern while i set the hook and started reeling wallace gave me a very painful sac tap i drop to the ground but still manage to reel in the fish all the the fish swims around for along time on shore basically it breaks off and swims away with my hook.

Although josh was the only one that ended up catching fish we still had a great time fishing and it was way better than doing homework. We were fishing with red hooks and putting weight about 3 feet up above the hook. Casting it out into 6-14 feet of water and letting it sit and wait for the carp to tense up the line so we could set the hook.
