DETROIT LAKES - Dick Beardsley?s Guide Service (218-846-9230) The panfishing in the DL area was really starting to heat up before all the rain came this past week! Things have slowed down and the bigger crappies have slipped back out into a little deeper water. Once the sun returns the shallows will again be producing well. Cotton, Franklin, Crystal, Cormorant, Prairie, Little Bemidji, Little Detroit, Sallie, Melissa, Big Toad have all been producing well. Lindy Little Nipper jigs and small Foxie Jigs have been working well with a 1? plastic tail. Waxworms on small jigs have been hot for bluegills.

Here's to a long life and a merry one.
A quick death and an easy one.
A pretty girl and an honest one.
A cold pint-- and another one!
