Schmeldt Fry

The Schmeldt fry for this year is going to be on Sat May 20th  at the Villa.
The weather will be good as usual and also the beer . Had A blast last year and should be the same this year.

I'm not sure I'm gonna be able to make it either, i allready have plans for this weekend being that its fishing opener and then i'm taking the kids camping on Memorial weekend, it would be really tough financially to do 3 weekends in a row.

Annual trip to Longville Mn. We always stay at Little Boy Resort, you, Rachel and Leiny can come along if your free that weekend.

The fishing is excellent on these lakes at this time of year.

Every year when I was young we would go to Wabedo. I Can't remember the name of the resort but it was always a good time.

As far as schmelt...I have never had this before.

well then it's settled, Joe you simply must come to the villa. bring your bride if you like.
it is north of grand rapids 8 miles. easy to find.
putz is very hospitable.
there is some room for camping, and there may be bunks availble in some of the hard houses stored there.
the weather is supposed to be sunny and warm, and the beer will be cold.
no cost or obligations, just show up :)

Almost 8 miles north of rapids on hwy 38 you will see A sign that says PUTZ VILLA with an arrow  just follow the arrow till you see another  PUTZ VILLA sign and another arrow follow it and you can smell the beer from that point.

i would like to make it to the smelt fry but i'll be up at the cabin replacing the roof it has a leek in it. don't know if i can sneek away it sounds like a big job.

if you are early you can help set up the can-o-pee. if you are way early(today) you can help us drink todays beer and sit by the campfire and throw many practice rounds of horseshoes
we will probably cook schmeldt around 2:00 in the afternoon i'm guessing.
there will be plenty of room to stay over if you like.

all i can tell you is that the schmeldt were better than last year, and the same guy who puked last year upheld his newly established tradition, even without the help of snowsnake
i know i drank plenty of beer. speaking of which, we have a new official beer of the IBOT
Res-Beer has been replaced by the new, even cheaper, Big City Lager. $8.99 a case!!
