Advice Duck and Goose Hunting.

I will be hunting the North Fork of the Zumbro River for the first time.  Any advice and what I can expect will be greatly appreciated. What kind of ducks can I expect?  Will it be better as the season progresses,etc.?

i would expect mallards, woodies, teal right now.  on the river you may see some mergansers.

as the season goes, more mallards and maybe some divers... (ringbills, redheads, bluebills)... but I would expect mostly mallards.
