Sunday 10/07/07 Report

Today was a return trip by Dick Gulliano & His old pal Tim Morrow. Fishing for us today was on the slow side with a fair amount of pleasure boaters and a lot of fisherman out for the last fling. The water temp was up to 69.7 degrees and last year on this date according to Lee's log (star date 10/07/06) it was 60 degrees.

We did manage to hit the mid teens mark on smallies, but fell far short of our last trip in numbers and size. Well, that's fishing for ya! Just when your flying high, You get knocked down to the ground. Like most Geneva fisherman you get back up and come back with a game plan for next time. At least the weather didn't let us down.

PS. It took 45 minutes to get the boat out at the Linn Launch with no attendent on duty. The line was backed up bad.

See ya on the water,

Lee

There is no substitute for fishing sense, and if a man doesn't have it, verily, he may cast like an angel and still use his creel largely to transport sandwiches and beer.
