GREY EAGLE - Nancy?s Bait & Tackle, Rex, on CR 2, four miles east of the Rock Tavern on Big Birch Lake, four miles west of Upsala (320-285-2405) Crappies are still biting well on Long Lake near the Hub supper club in shallow water near shore. On Pine Lake in the north end bay the crappies are now spawning. Sunfish are biting on Long Lake by St. Rose; the best area is by the culvert. Big Swan Lake is good for Sunfish and crappies on Flu Flu?s and tube jigs. Redtails will be on hand for this weekends fishing opener, we have the areas largest selection of bait.
