What are some things that you do at Deer Camp every year that could be considered a tradition besides hunt deer ?

At our deer camp if someone misses or admits to a miss. we take his hat and hang it on the target and everyone lines up from the same distance that he missed his shot from and shoot. It is pretty funny seeing 8-10 arrows stuck in a hat.

The night before we watch the movie  "Escanaba in Da Moonlight" with Jeff Daniels to get our blood pumping from the Soady deer camp humor!!

Well I have just started being a part of this deer camp and Friday night they go to a small church to a Lutheran Lutefisk Dinner.  Mighty fine grazing there! ::rockon::  Geno

The best movie ever created.  I just watched it with a group of about 10 youth hunters.  Boy did we laugh.

Hey GOGETTER, I missed the lutafisk chow line this year due to one of those youth I was just mentioning.  But that is something I look forward to.

Every year we watch Blazing Saddles one night in one guys RV.  On Saturday nights we also listen to a radio show called "Green Cheese" on KAXE out of Ely.  It's a call in trivia show.  Great entertainment when you're sitting around a fire and having some drinks.

For us it’s sausage on the barbeque for lunch, every day!

Yeah I will never forget that !! LOL HE was talking though at a time like this  :drinking:  But still think its good info.. LOL..
THere was a stat done on if a man and a woman were both in the same situation and had a gun in the house and an intruder  came in what would be the difference of how they would handle it and the outcome was the man would go out shooting and maybe get killed himself but the woman would wait in a room for the intruder to come in and blow hime to peices.. SO somehow there is more thinking once again by woman when it comes to what to do at dangerous times...
