denny my name is going to look real nice on the jim moline gang trophy next year

It almost looked nice a couple years back when you shot that nine pointer.  Too bad someone else got a ten and eleven pointer to knock you out of the running.   :whistling:

I used to go up north every year by Thief river falls. We had about 30 to 35 hunters. Every Sunday night we used to have a big supper and there would be a table full of spirits. Boy was that hard getting up the next day. We used to have a belt buckle that would be passed on to the biggest buck every year. I won it 2 or 3  times. I will never forget those times.  Now we just started a new camp in the slug area. It is a lot different than hunting up north. This year I installed a electronic dart game and we played tell almost 12:00 pm. That is getting late for first mourning of hunting. I am getting old. I hope every body will remember some good things at camp. I rented a porta poty and had a electric fire place to look at. It is hard to figure where every body should hunt. I had my brother help with fixing up some stands that were on the land when I bought it and then I had a nephew that helped put in the floor on the shed and helped put in a little food plot. There was still a little bickering amongst them. Maybe they just don't get the comadery of the thing. I have shot enough deer in my life to be happy. But the relationships have to stay strong. No bickering and just be happy with what you get. I always hunt hard, but I always like the getting together the best. No bird or animal is worth a friendship.

I agree hunter2.  It's not the size or number of game shot.  It is the time spent with family and friends that means the most.  Life is to short to fight.  Live it as if it were your last. :woot:
