I was out this mourning and had a deer about 60 yards away. I said to myself that is a big body. I couldn't see if it had horns because of all the snow that was coming down so I let it pass. I'm guessing it was a 4 or 6 pointer that has been hanging around. Still waiting for the big guy. What a beautiful mourning in the woods. I was camouflaged in about a half hour from all the snow. I might have to try and get out again tomorrow mourning if I can get out of the driveway. :fudd:

I couldn't get out today because of the domestic chores that surrounded me and the the FIL called and needed help getting his plow truck started.
that's ok, I said, I'll get out tomorrow...that is until Goose called. he forgot that it;s still deer season because he decided to waste valuable deer hunting time working on his basement.
then he has the balls to ask me to do some plumbing for him tomorrow!!
YOU KNOW WHAT I TOLD HIM??!!
ok...see you in the morning.
It's going to be double time!!
take a kid hunting and fishing!!

Well I made it out again this mourning. I saw 3 fawns and 1 doe. Still no big guy. I also froze my arss off! The little buggers wouldn't leave so I had to stay in the ladder stand longer than I wanted to. I will try the wool pants tonight. :happy1:

Well, I was out again tonight and saw 8 deer and still no bucks. I think they are hibernating. :bambi:
