This fall, while in the market for some fish houses, I purchased a FISH HOUSE STORE fish house.
it's a 2 year old 7 x 16 house.
in nice condition overall, but the wheel assemblys are out of line.
I noticed this and the man who was selling this said that the frame has a ten year warranty and the guy at the fish house store was real easy to work with.
well in my opinion a ten year warranty is as good as you could ask for. or so I thought.
the problem with them is that the arms that the springs are mounted to, the pivot arms are toed outward.
they have not been bent because the location of the shackle where the spring lowers into, to pin it, is lined up perfectly with the spring when it comes down. it has been like this since it left the factory.

well I contacted the fish house store and told them what the problem was and how to go about handleing it.
he told me the tubes would have to be cut off etc. I knew all that by looking at it.

when I asked him about the ten year warranty he said that the warranty was NON TRANSERABLE.

this house is only two years old!!

I guess buisness must be pretty good for them when you can take and choose how you treat customers.

I am in the fish house rental buisness now and next season when I expand my fleet with new houses, you can be damned sure it wont be fish house store houses!

I will be sure to tell everyone who stays with me this season of my experience.

way to handle shotty workmanship fish house store!

You think they'd want to back up their product more than that.  They're only backing up the original purchaser.  As if that will get them more new sales.  WRONG!   :banghead:   Sounds like they already burned a bridge.

The worst thing is most companies have this policy in place. Someone there just want to make a few more bucks!!!

This is the second time I've heard a report of this problem with the wheel assembly from this manufacturer.
The first one was from a guy who was the original owner of a less than 2year old house.  They also gave him the runaround on warranty work.

Ya know we must know the same people as I could ditto that.
