Just wondering if anyone is going north to area 101 for the extended disease zone deer season?

I thought about it, but I know nobody up there and I have no idea of the lay of the land, public areas for example?
a lot of farm country, it might not be easy to get permission. I would think the locals wouldn't want the herd shot all to hell, no matter what the dnr wants.
think about the dnr opening the area where you hunt, inviting people from all over the state to come have a free for all with the goal to greatly eliminate the deer herd.
take a kid hunting and fishing!!
