Corky?s Gas & Bait , Main Street in Rockville (320-251-1567) The panfish bite is fair on waxworms in 10-12 feet of water; Crappies have been in 15 feet of water on Flu Flu?s and a minnow. Northern pike are biting very well on sucker minnows in 8-12 feet of water. Walleyes are picking up on Rice Lake in 12-15 feet, biting on shiners


Stop Light Bait, 8th Avenue SE, St. Cloud (320-255-9689) Local anglers are very happy with the recent fishing; many of the area lakes are good for crappies and sunfish. Clearwater, Julia, Pearl, Cedar, Sugar and the Horseshoe Chain have been the best. Walleyes are biting on the Horseshoe Chain, Koronis, Big Birch, Minnewaska and Briggs Lake. Smallmouth bass are biting well on all the lakes in the area
