Minnewaska Bait, Larry Jensen, Hwy 29 near the Starbuck Marina (320-239-2239) Walleye fishing is improving on Minnewaska. Shiners and spinners, jigs and fatheads have been working the best in both shallow and deeper water. Panfish have been biting well in the Starbuck Marina. Long Lake is doing better as well. The Chippewa River is producing a lot of sauger on a jig and minnow; overall the fishing in this area is improving.
