Check this website out.  Found this a couple days ago,  Built six of them and there cheap to build.  Just Have to find a way to keep water out.  I used a shower drain cap on the bottom to let water out when it rains.            http://www3.sympatico.ca/konecny/deerfeeder.htm

Not a half bad idea but if they are anything like my deer you will have to fill that feeder twice a day.

Super Star,
where in the post did it say any thing about baiting?
it says deer feeders, and feeding deer isn't "ILLEGAL", in MN, although it is currently banned in the no feed TB area, but recreational feeding isn't against the law.

Ravendog,
looks like a dam nice idea for a feeder, but as tim said it may be a little small for some.

Note the errors in your writings…

Have you ever heard of a joke?  If not here is the definition.

By the looks of it there Mr. TNT it seams most of all your post you are trying to start something. If that is true, well two can play at your game. And you do have a ton of grammar and spelling errors in them to.  Just and FYI I am not a superb speller but it seams like you are not the best either. Have you ever hear the saying “take the plank out of your own eyes before you put it in some one else’s”??

Now that does look like a pretty good idea. Yes you prolly would have to feed them 2 a day. It deepends on if ur trying to give them survival food or just draw them someplace to view (outside ur picture window) If ur try to give them survival food in a rough winter buy a couple tons of alfalfa an put out. When tryin to get them into viewing range of a house you might want to watch them couple times a day, so feed them twice too. The other nice thing, they could be used for feeding other animals (turkeys, pheasants, squirrels, rabbitts, etc). Depending on the hieght of feeder.

That is a cool feeder, I like that idea. What if you went with a bigger diameter PVC pipe (6" or 8") and just went with a longer tube. That would give you allot more storage if your feeding requires more food.
Just my thoughts.

They would actually work really well if you had about 6 out there in an area! That would let them last a bit longer, Still have to fill them a lot but they are cool looking feeders.

If you widen that area then it gives the deer the oppurtunity to eat more and that means more corn and that means filling the feeders more often and that means spending more money on corn than you really want to.  ;D

just make it more comfortable for them to eat !

When I was feeding the deer I usually put out about 30 plates and poured little piles of corn on the plates. It is just so much more comfortable for them. I also go as far as to hang little towels out there in the woods near the corn in case they need to clean up.

I love those deer.
