Well the northern, and perch are still plentyful, but the walleye are still off and on. It seems when the weather starts to warm, so do the walleye. All and all it was a good winter of fishing. We are moving our fish houses for the el-pout festival this week and then several back to our fishing ground's by our resort by Trades Bay, and Goose Island. If the bite is better for the walleye in Walker Bay, we might just leave all there. I will advise latter on the move and if the bite is better there. We been getting differant reports on the walleye, but the best is in the evening in depths anywhere from 10 to 20 feet of water. Daytime go deeper. Can not pin point anything that is giving us a sure sign of the bite, except when it warms a little, the bite seems to be better. Along Templar Point after dusk we have reports that as shallow as 8 feet. If you need a fish house, or cabin, call Doug at Acorn Hill Resort, at 1 800 237 1015.
