I checked out last years contest to see what I was in for.  I did come up with a couple of questions.  Will I,and my team be penalized if we don't smear axil grease on our camera lens when we take our pictures.  Are the judges useing different pics to score these or are they seeing what I am seeing?  :reporter; (I realize it could be my computer resolution but I doubt it)   And I read on an underground super secret web site that the staple item might be a pocket protecter with MNO written on it.  I tried to find some tonight.  No luck.  General, any chance I could buy one from you just in case.   Fawkinnae told me he would not part with his.

Damn right! They're not as easy to come by as they used to be. I suggest you go to any slide rule store. They'll have them.

And yes you will be required to smear axle grease on on your camera lens and the floor of your boat. And no fair taking pictures with those xray machines you guys use.

Speaking of ruler stores don't forget to start soaking your 99 cents tape measures in water now so they will be good and rusty when you take your fish photos aganist them.

This guy went home with a few stitches.  3/4 of an inch is huge rusty or not.

I have my special measuring tape ordered and It should be here in 5-7 business days.  Its pretty neat, it will count 1 inch of measurement and say its really 2 inches.  Pretty slick.  So dont be surprised when I come in with that 68" pike ;)!

Lets hope it doesnt get lost in the mail, if it does, will the judges except this form of measurement?

As I believe HunterDown said earlier in this thread, "There is so much I could do with this....." but I wont open up that can of worms.

Hahaha.  Those CoorsLight cans are the same thing I use.  The only bad thing by the time I drink the 24 cans it takes to measure the fish I catch I find I don't have the skills to operate the camera any more.

This year I may not need to catch a big northern to win. I've been considering returning back to that old honey hole my dad took me to when I was a boy. Just one of those big smallmouth again and it's all over. Yep, that's some big bass honey hole by golly.

I got a couple programs on my computer to help me look at pics. But, some pics, even the best software can't help.  ;D

So.....if you wanna smear axle grease on your lens....go for it.
It'll help out other teams with a shot at the title.  ;)

Well we will have to see.  I have a couple new jigs that are going to be pretty hard to beat.  I went downstairs to check on the paint cure this am. Two of them were missing.  I looked all over.  Sure enough some how two of my mounts had the jigs in their mouths.   A walleye and a Smallie.  Like I said before I made need help with the pike.

Hey General,

I was just reading your post on another thread.

"Well I filled up the truck with some Turkey manure the other day and got it tilled into the garden.  It sure smells like success."

I'd recomend saving some of that turkey dung. The way your spewing out the :bs: on this thread you may run out of :bs: and need to use turkey manure.  :rotflmao:

Lee, You thinking I'm going to "run out" makes about as much sense as wiping before you poop.

Just remember dude :reporter;

This year you will be a year older and if you start fishing to early you could suffer from burnout before the actual season starts :doah:

Look what happened to The General and how he burned out early in the challenge. :surrender:

:oops1: :sorry: General. Just wanted to show an example that others could relate to :whistling:

Does that mean I can't fish either? I'm pretty sure in the past the judge and the fisherman can be one.
