Here's the pitch for this week only. Sign up only if you are a true purple people eater and support your Vikes.   If your just a fair weather fan then leave this thread immediately. Lee, the true Bears fan is willing to take on all comers'.

I am willing send each Viking fan $1.00 cash money if the Vikes beat the Bears this coming Sunday. All you have to do is sign up on this thread to enter the challenge and support your Vikes.

If the Vikes loose to the most powerful and mighty Bears you will have to send Lee $1.00 cash.

** You are responsible to mail Lee $1.00 in the event of a MN. loss.

This is what I was afraid of. The Vikes win their last game and get some respect back. So, wouldn't you think the fans would take some intrest in their team. Are we talkin about a team without fans here?  On the other hand is it just that $1.00 is to high of a stake?

You and Wild are blowing so much hot air in this direction that it knocked a tree over the power lines, and the electricity/TV has been off at Burntside since 1:45 this afternoon.
This has happened all over the Ely area today, and the repair crews haven't been around yet.
I don't feel like sitting around the shop to watch the Vikes clobber the Bears, then drive 10 miles to a house with no power at 11 tonight.
