Jr came home from Mankato late last night. He said they got hammered down there...8 inches or so

We got about 1.5, but sure is windy. I was kinda hoping I could get out to shoot my new toy. Oh well! I got 30 pounds of beer sticks to vacuum pack, so that will keep me busy for a while.

not much here, maybe an inch or 2. plows in town are out. gotta drift in front of the garage and house nuttin serious. not enough to start the blower.

Just got in from shovelin , don't think we have 2". But the brother always uses the blower & it took a dump. Froze up solid, augers won't turn even after we took the shear pins out of the front 1.

Morning boys. We got no snow up our way, just a steady NE wind all weekend. We still have some open water out in front of our place. But the neighbor's have there fish houses out there. I think there are 6 or 7 of them out there now. They are staying on the shore side of the open water. Me, I just stuck with muzzleloader hunting for the weekend. Made some summer sausage also. I seen no deer this weekend. One more weekend to go. Looking like single digit high a few days later in the week here. How about them Vikes  . The bears lost and we couldn't seize the opportunity to gain on them. They just seem to out of sync this year. Well, just another in paradise. Have a good one boys.

mornin all!!  interesting weekend of football for sure...  no snow here either, and that is OK by me..  well Jim was supposed come home from the hospital yesterday even with 4 cracked/broken ribs..  but then they found blood or clots by his lungs yesterday so he's still there..  he seems to be doing better but I know the pain meds are helping too..    not much going on today so have a good day all!!

Ya darn the Pack lost and the Bears lost but so did we so nothing changed.  I am losing confidence in Zim and Flip.  We have better athletes than NE but no Coaching to speak of.  Belichek out foxed us by a long shot.  Pathetic.  That is not going to wreck my day.  It used to but I have gotten used to it over the years.  Gotta make a run to town today and then just putz around the rest of the day.  Perfect!  Go Jim!

Mornin' gang! 27 at choretime with temps falling to the low 20's as the day goes on. was a tad over 7" of snow at the ranch and about 8.2" in Bugtussle yesterday. Got the mess cleaned up in the yard afterwards then made a grocery run. They apparently don't sell groceries in Albert Lea where Mrs. Cheviot works... After I got back we livestreamed the Gopher women's BB game as we were purty sure the Vikes would lose. Whalen has them playing some good ball. Gopher VB the nite before was dominant. Could be a title team here if they play up to their capabilities. Had high hopes for Gopher men's BB team but they were flat on the road against Ohio St. last nite after a good performance against Oklahoma St.

Mornin' boyz! 28* in the #1 city of glitter. All the wet snow is now frozen rock hard. A couple lazy neigbors are  trying to blow out today what they should have done yday.  Isn't working for them. Man, that was heavy stuff. When I was pulling it off  the roof, it hit the deck with a *THUD*, felt like an elephant had sat down. Takin' it easy today, just a few major aches.    Got a tub of bean 'n ham soup thawing out for dinner, that'll be the days high point. Have a nice non-manic Monday.
