it all started out on a hot friday afternoon with a phonhe call from my fishing partner and he had a hot tip the fish were jumping in the boat so i said i'd meet him at his place around 6 am ..

well he was so very much right it did't take long to find them but the problem was sticking with them as they were on the move with the small minows so we did get a few smaller ones then this one hit thought it was a northern pike to begin with then we got to see it ..
it was so very much worth the fight to bringing in this nice 3 1/2 pounder ..

then a little while later another hard hit all i could see was a big pike till i got it a little closer to the boat then i could see a pike holding on to my 2 pound bass 3/4 of the way down it's mouth almost like it was't going to let go till it seen the boat then it was gone (sorry no pic's of that)..never to be seen agian or till next trip..

We were useing green and black buzz baits in 1-15 feet of water..
And also
bright orange 7" jointed rapalas..

It's been awhile since the last time I had the pleasure of seeing you Iceman. Can't help but notice you haven't gotten any better looking with age!LOL! :ROTFLMAO: At least you are out catching fish instead of prowling through all the dens of iniquity in Brainerd. ::cheers:: ::drunks:: Didn't you know that "Friends don't let friends fish for Bass?" ::hittingself:: :taz: DIRTBALL2 ;)

Hey iceman, next time we go fishin' together, let's bring Dirtball.  We could use him as an anchor... or better yet... we can use him for chum.    :whistling:
