Not with lead core.  I've used spinerbaits and caught walleyes on Mille lacs.  I was targeting pike, and muskies and caught giant walleyes.   Bonus!!!!

 I'wit dakids! I lived on a great walleye lake,could only catch em winter!! I did a lot of bassin with spinnerbaits. In the thickest submerged 5-9ft weeds I could almost be assured of eyes.Couldnt catch em anyother way, just a occasionally one or 2 over the summer fishing for them!!!
