Rodwork, do you use a chamber vac sealer for freezing your soup?

I wish I had one of those. I just have a food saver. I push the stop button once the air gets suck out, hit the seal, clean the bag, clean the machine, and seal that bag again. It’s not an enjoyable process but works.

you can freeze it in pans and then seal it...

I seal some of my bags twice too when they are filled with damp which is usually. I always look at the seal to see if there is a small spot that was wet and didn't seal.  Happens often.

you can also put the soup in the bag, lay the bag in a pan with opening flipped up on one end and freeze it..  then seal it...
