This question is for our Next Generation members....

What kinds of things have you been doing to enjoy the outdoors this summer?

This summer is going awesome!!!  Mopho and I took his kids out to Lake Minnetonka to do a bit of shore fishing this last Saturday.  His 5 year old son was quite a fisherman.  In about a 2 hour period, he had to have caught at least 15 fish.....granted, none of them were keepers, just small sunfish, but still....  He'd cast his line out, IMMEDIATELY start to bring it in, and he'd have a fish on it....then he'd do it again....All he has to do now is learn how to take the fish off the hook...then I can fish!

Our summer has been going fast.  We have a break between kids sports right now.  So, hopefully we can get out and do a little more camping.  We have done some hiking, biking, fishing.  I played on a softball team.  We took a couple of trips.  Mostly we ran around to baseball games and soccor games.  It's nice to sit a home a couple nights a week now. ;)

Now maybe I'm wrong, but being this is under the "Next Generation" thread-I can only guess the question Realtree posed was for the "Next Generation"-the kids and teenage members of MNO.

But it sure is nice to hear how everyone's summer is going so far as well.  Mine's been hot and busy.   ::hittingself::  :ROTFLMAO:
