Elf on a Shelf is a family tradition where the family adopts a Scout Elf, who has the important job of being Santa's eyes and ears during the busy Christmas season. The Elf heads back to the North Pole each night to report the kid's behavior, then returns in the morning where he will perch in a new spot in the home. So the parents set up up different each night in fun, creative poses to prove he moves around and tells Santa when the kids have been good or bad.

It's taken a life of its own in the adult community where people are setting up the Elf in funny or occasionally inappropriate scenes.  :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

I'm not sure if the activity book is new... I was a kid in the 80s and 90s and don't recall hearing a thing about it back then. 🤷‍♀️
