"We enjoyed it."  he says.  Well we  had our garlic, cheddar, polish sausages last night with broccoli pasta.  I decided to also have a garlic stuffed olive with mine.

It was a balmy 38* out, so I fired up the Weber for an early charcoaled-chicky dinner.  Chicky quarters, cheesy rice and broccoli, pickled beets, rye bread. This diet is starving me.....

Isn't the bacon still underdone when the fish is cooked through?

If the bacon doesn't get cooked done then you have a bunch of half baked bacon all over your fish.  That's why I asked.

(and actually that much bacon would make a lot of grease when it cooks)

Unless of course it was all some kind of joke...

Ruined the fish with the bacon!!! :rotflmao: the bacon would add flavor to the fish. I'd even eat it.

Silly peoples. Lotsa fish wrapped in bacon out there. I had bacon wrapped scallops a few weeks ago. No different than a fish filet. From Trader Joe's. Common recipe. Michael's restaurant here in town used to have a bacon-wrapped trout almondine on the menu.
