I leased my property in Wisconsin to a so called outfitter/hunter from Milaca MN. He hunted on it and I never got paid. The 2008 season was only 8 days from starting. I drove 5 hrs up there and spent 2-3 hours walking the property with him. He said he would mail me the $600. I guess that should have been my red flag but he seemed like a straight up guy. I called him the Wednesday before the 08 season and he said I would have it by Saturday. I never received it. I waited until Monday - no check. By this time I knew I had been taken. I tried calling him several times, but he never would return my call until I posted his name on craigslist which is the internet site that we connected on. Consequently I got kicked off the site for posting his name. He can use the site to screw me but I can't use it to tell others what he did to me. But who says all is fair. If you live in Mn/Wisc & own land and planning on leasing it, e-mail me @ yellowmarks@live.com

hey, I don't think I am out of line here.  As long as we can keep it clean, go ahead and post the "outfitter/hunter" persons name.  Let me just make the statement that MNoutdoorsman is not to be held liable for anything between the two of you.  At this point it is just strictly your word against his...  ;) but I think it is only fair to know who it is.  I don't see a problem with that.
If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?

Thanks for the supportive comments John but guess I would rather share the info to anyone that wants to email me at yellowmarks@live.com  Super Star, I always believed  that a man's word was good and its too bad that contracts and  money up front are needed because 1% of sportmen are crooked (but of course this Keith is not a sportsman).   I leased my property for 08 and they have paid me and the contract is in the mail (I hope).   email me, Super Star

Its people like that, that make it hard for me and my wife to find land to lease. I have the money ready, just nobody interested in leasing.
