What does everyone use to charge their glow jigs?

I've tried just about every kind of light available and I'm still using my camera flash that I bought almost 20 years ago.

It runs on 2 AA batteries, I think they run about $20 nowadays, I paid about $5 when I bought mine.

One flash completely charges the jig and it takes less than a second.

I use a 48-LED light in my shack, I just use that mostly.

I've got a Glow-n-Go from Zero Degree Tackle that I got last year and have never used...has anyone used one before??

Iv'e tried all of those little light tazers, LED's and others, every one i have used takes to long to charge the jig. I'll bet your 48 LED does the job pretty quick?

anyone ever seen that auto jig glower anywhere?  When you'd swing your lure into this little cup you mount somwhere, the lite would come on and glow yer jig instantly...had reflectors iside it so it worked really well...me and my freinds laughed at it at the time, but it really was a great idea for fishermen who use the glow stuff alot when ice fishing....didnt see it at shows or stores this year though...     -thunderpout

I actually know the guys that own that company (Zero Degree Tackle) - one of the owner's sons is soon to be my brother in law. Anyway, I have one of the glow machines but never have used it...I've heard they work really good though.

Pat, the 48 LED seems to work really good for me. My biggest problem is actually remembering to glow my jig though...maybe I should bring a timer out with me or something!  :bonk:

That looks like a handy attachment.  How much are those things?  It looks like I could mount it to the side of my Lowrance 2060 flasher.  I should probably think about upgrading that someday.

Thundercat/Spinach... picked up the 48 led lite from Northern...pretty cool, seen em at a few places before...lots of light, but I think its gonna be toast pretty quick...it needs a padded case to keep it in or I'll kill it before its time....either the hanger or the little switch will be its demise.... Ice fishing is pretty hard on things as we all know....I give it one season! ;)
