3 great signings IMO. Now we'll know what T Jack can do with a good receiver that can stretch the field.

Williams will fit in great with our D.

Tapeh is from my neighborhood and went to Johnson high, so seeing another local wearing a Mn uniform is pretty cool. Plus he is a great blocker and will fit in nicely for Richardson.

:oops1: It was just a mistake. Could we please have Bernard Berrian back?

i seen tapeh play when he was in high school, was a
harding /johnson game. man that kid could run! the
score was 50 something to zip. my son had a few
beers with him a few months ago at a bar.
should be a interesting year.

I think the signings were great as well. Williams is a nice versatile player and Tapeh will be a nice combo with AP for many years to come. I think the best signing was Berrian though. He did have some dropped pass troubles last year, but at least he could catch a ball more often than not, unlike Williamson. Good speed, big game experience, still young...I think it was a solid signing. I do think we over paid for him a little, but based on what else was out there we had to. Now if S. Rice continues to grow and improve, that could be a nice 1-2 punch for TJack to throw to. This is a very important year for the Vikes passing game. We know the running game's going to be solid, but if the passing game again falters, TJack is in trouble.

I agree that all three were good choices.  The defense will only get stronger with the addition of Williams.  The offense will be better with a receiver that can catch some deep balls.  I think we still need a good veteran back up QB who can help TJack develope.

So far I have been impressed.

well i think we dont need a qb. but maybe sign a veteran like trent green to be a backup and to teach Tjackson. and i just read that berrian only dropped 4 pass's last year.

I heard Berrian was like the 25th best reciever in the NFL, based on #'s of yds/catches Im not sure but at least he can catch.... ya gotta remember who was throwing to him all year also....

yep he will do just fine and he will make Tjackson a better QB just like moss made Culepepper a better QB even though he sucked in my opinion.

And Yesterday the  Vikings signed Runningback and special teams specialest Maurice Hicks from the 49ERs. and they are also still in trade talk with the houston texans for backup QB Sage Rosenfels.
