Anyone else out there like this movie??

I start watching every year about this time. It is a temporary fix to my cabin fever problem. Every year about the same time!! And if you haven't seen this movie you should check it out! ;)

I have seen parts of it, but I don't think I have ever sat down and watched the whole movie. What is it about the movie that you enjoy the most? I will have to check it out this weekend.

I'm also a big fan of OGP

And I agree with Mayfly, it's one of those movies I've watched 3 or 4 times and I never get sick of it. I remember watching it at my brother-in-laws cabin when my kids were younger - probably 10 and 12 - and them whining about it because it was about a couple of old people. They loved it. In particular the acting by Henry Fonda and Katherine Hepburn is extraordinary. And if you are a lover of lakes and cabins it does a great job of bringing you into that world.

In Grumpier Old Men the name of the fish was Catfish Hunter, on Golden Pond it was Walter.

I love both of these movies!  They are true classics!

Yeah I thought it was a Chris Craft but could not remember for sure . I'll have to get a copy to watch it again .  They reminded me of an aunt and uncle that my mother had . They had a house on 5th crow wing when I was a kid . He could really put us on the panfish and big blue belly bullheads.
