Hi Monti and welcome
Whitetails will "yard up" in winter they all hang together in certain areas. I am in Lino and the same thing happens here. I notice quite a few coagulated in the property by the correctional facilty. And on the property north of 35w between lexington and 95th. Don't worry they will be back soon.

Deer do use different areas at different times of the year but if you have corn out I think that is weird. Usually in the winter if there is corn the deer will flock to that. An easy meal always waiting. So I do think that is weird if you had regulars coming through.

If they know there is corn there they still would hit it. One or two at least would have to stop by.

If this is a bird feeder size feeder that would explain it but i'm thinking a big feeder for deer?

yes, it is a moultrie 5 gallon can with a sprinkler under it, hanging from a tree branch. they have returned a week ago, but only for that day, they were under the feeder & there was still food in it from last fall. the neighbor may have been feeding them but so have i & no tracks all winter. weird.
