what do you consider to be a trophy fish?

For walleyes, I would consider anything bigger than the one I have on my wall which is 29 1/4".

Anything smaller, I would throw back.

For crappies, it would have to be about 14" or so.

Each fish you catch is a trophy unto itself. Remember these fish are fighting for their life. Some fish are trophies in my mind only, such as a beautiful half pound brook trout up in the mountains of Montana.

Anything 60% the size of the state record you are in.. Benchmark most of the guys I fish with use. But you can mount anything that is special to you..
