Dunked the boat today in Ely

First boat trip of the season was just that, a trip. Found some open water on Farm lake and figured I'd give it a try. We needed a shakedown on the boat before opener, and today was just perfect for that, and the boat performed well.
It was great to be back out on open water, but there's still a lot of ice out there. We need some warm rains to flush this stuff out in the next ten days.

After i left you Babes, i also went out in the boat. Went  down to fall lake campground, and put the boat in.. The water level was super high, both landings were under water, making the boat harder to get in for me... But checked out the motor and the trolling motor, and it worked great.. was out maybe a hour all together. The lake was ice free. Just water level was very high.
