That is what the Twins website says anyway.  It looks like Rondell White will also be released by the end of the week when Shannon Stewart comes back.  I think it makes a lot of sense to get rid of these vets that are not really helping and let the young kids play.

I guess someone should mention the good news today.  They traded Castro to the Reds for a minor league outfielder.  It does not matter who they traded him for the good part is that he is gone.  This must mean they are going to let Bartlett play the rest of the season, something they should have done last year.
