Opener is HERE ....except it was Memorial weekend! Walleyes are on the break in 18 ft of water. Lots of "slot" fish being caught. Evening between 8-10 is a good time in 18ft of water bobber fishing off the break. During the day 21-22 ft of water seems to be the magic number drifting in the sands just to the left and to the right of the harbor.

I wasn't up this weekend but I have started to hear very good reports. They were slow to come in but the fish are biting ;D

Yes the fish are turning on now, we fished the North East side out of Agate Bay.
The rocks were hot from 8:30pm till it was time to leave the lake at 9:55, leaving time to motor to the marina before 10 PM.

The day bite on Friday was great up in front of Fishers and along the sand up that way, Saturday it was an ok bite but turned on again at 8:30.

Sunday was slow early am but they turned on around 10AM and hit real good till the storm came in.

The night bit after the storm was fair.

Wind shifted Monday AM  coming from the South West but we had to get back home to make sure we didn't have to pick up pieces from our house.

All was good here though, feel sorry for those Hugo folks and the loss of their child.

Hey Barnacle's, how about more timely reports ???? Here and on your site. You're about the only ones on the north side that give any reports. So thanks for that.  :happy1:

I'll try to make them more timely. Not many people coming up during the week and even on the weekends it has been rather slow. Ran into problems with our website and thus we have been unable to update it...but we are working on it.
