It seems like the sport of bowfishing is gaining huge momentum.  I can say that I've noticed the number of people taking up this sport is growing rapidly.  Just wondering if any of you guys and gals have shot any big fish this spring/summer.  The largest I have seen for our carp fishing tourney is 41 lbs. and it was a SLAB!!

I have never tried it, but I have a buddy in Owatonna that just started bow fishing for the first time this summer.

Here are a couple pictures he sent me.

What do people REALY do with these?  I'm sure a few people smoke 'em, but man I can't believe people shootng them out of the Mississippi in warm July/August water are scarfing them down.  Yuck!

Most work great as fertilizer for gardens!
