lots of big trades today... manny to dodgers in a nice three way trade.  Bsox come out smiling with Jason Bay... and the pirates get 4 nice prospects.

and Mark Texeria to the Angels...

The Twins really should not be where they are at right now so I don't mind them not making any moves.  It really does not make sense to give up the future just to get beat in the first round of the playoffs.  Someday we will spend some money and something good will happen.

Yeah theres no way I would have moved any of our young pitchers... but the sox didnt give up much for Griff Jr., I would have easily traded Young, Bonser, Harris & Buscher to get him and maybe more... with Cuddy comming back, we'll have five real outfeilders, and not enough relief arms, they must all have wanted our pitchers otherwise we would have got a reliever and moved an outfeilder or two, but yeah Ryan, I agree... no moves are better than a stupid one.  Im hopin Francisco will come up and pitch his  :moon: off and we'll be fine.... It'll be tough to get by the Angels if we got in the playoffs, let alone the Yanks, both Sox, and the Rays if they keep playin like they have...
