It is getting close to the season and I haven't have time to go and buy the mathew quiver that fit the DXT model.  You know....they only made the T5 quiver to fit it only.  Well....I found a great way to mount others to it without spending over 100 for the Mathews.  I don't have the time to go get the right quiver for it because the store that sells it close before I get off work this week....so I went to Gander.

Here's the tip.

Most of the sight on a bow comes with a row of three holes to mount the sight onto the bow.  The sight I have has the last row of hole that has been tap for screw bolt.  I bought the Bohning 3 arrow Quiver and the screw hole fit perfectly on the sight hole....along with the screw that came with it.  Walla........Third Party Quiver on the DXT without the cost of an expensive T5 quiver.

I know....I will eventually buy the t5 later....but this is just a temporary quiver for this season.

i don't shoot with a quiver on, I carry one that is meant to be strapped on your leg in, and then I just hang it from a hook up by my stand.
If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?

I look into one of those quiver too,  then I was thinking that the arrow might be scrapping something when you are walking.

i don't actually attach it to my leg, i just carry it in to my stand and then hang it.  I don't stalk deer.

I've got the same thing now too Jwester. I strap it to my backpack and then hang it when getting into my stand. I found it alot easier than removing my quiver from my bow when I get up there.
Marry an outdoors woman. Then if you throw her out into the yard on a cold night, she can still survive.

My quiver is attached to the bow.  Because my bow case can accomidate the bow with quiver attached, I leave 4 arrows with broadheads in all the time.  For me it's one less thing to carry, hang, store, etc.

You should try sometime! ;D What a rush! Best I did was within 30 yards of a doe feeding in a clover field. In the corner of the field as you walk into the woods it was a hill down so she could not see me down there. I crept low and quiet popping my head up to make sure she was not looking. When I got to the edge of the field I was hidden behind a tree and drew my bow back. I let an arrow fly and it was a bad shot, missed and she took off. What fun though! After that I got back in my stand and shot a doe an hour later coming to the field.
