Well I qualified and got pick for the Mankato City hunt.  I got my stand up already and just waiting to get a doe right away and then taking a nice buck.  I have a co-worker that lives about a block away from where I've got my stand.  She told me there's 2 large size bucks in the area.  An 8 pointer with a very wide rack.  And a 6 pointer.  I hope I have my doe before I see that 8 pointer otherwise I will probably take the 8 if it is as big as she says it is.  But, then I will probably get black listed from the City hunt for taking a buck first.

I've only been into archery since last December and this is AWESOME.  I wish I would have gotten into it when I was a kid.  I already robinhooded once training for the city test you have to take.  Wish it wasn't my Carbon Express Maxima Hunter Arrows though.  Those are the only arrows I will buy unless they come out with something better. 

I also have the Rage 2 blade broad heads.

   And good luck on your hunt.  I do the Metro Bow hunts which are similar to the one your going to do.  I'll be hunting about the same time as you.  I know what you mean about getting your doe first.  Be strong -- hold back.  You sure don't want to be black listed.  Im hunting Belwin this year and they'll let us take either first but bucks have to be 8 pointers wider than their ears.
