After a frustrating loss last week to the Chicago Bears the Minnesota Vikings have pledged to their fans not to loose this weekend.

                  I also heard some bad news and good news about Viking football yesterday.
  The bad news is it is a bye week and you won't be able to watch Viking football this weekend.   
   But the good news is it is a bye week and you won't be able to watch Viking football this weekend.

  Yeah, I was so over-joyed/bummed that I had to go up nort fer a day to clear & mark some trails and grouse hunt for a few hours... dangnabit!  I hate it when they dont play!  Ten bucks sez the Texans wup the nordic barbarians behinders this weekend, though you guys will have to tell me the outcome... I gotz to clean the garage & pack for deerhunting... I'll find something else to do if I get those things done too quick.

What outstanding results for the Vikings this weekend.  Even though they didn't get any interceptions, block any field goals, or recover any fumbles. The good news was they went without any fumbles, penalties or giving up any interceptions while the defense failed to give up any points.

As bleak as the season has been thus far this past weekend was a breath of fresh air for everyone. The only negative thing was that we missed all those wonderful time consuming commercials.

You forgot to mention the coming suspension of not one but two bonehead players that broke the banned substance rules. They always find a positive way to make the headlines!
