I thought I heard on the radio this morning that they decided to move the thing up to Grand Rapids. Anyone heard if there is any truth to it, as I only heard part of it? Guess they canceled it the last couple yrs and have too much invested to cancell again.

Yes that is true. They are going to completely cancel it this year and then the following year it will be held in the Grand rapids area. Too bad for Forest Lake but that is great news for the Grand Rapids area.

That would be the Brainerd Jaycees Ice Tournament you are thinking of and yes it is on Gull. I believe last year they held it on another area lake but this year it is on schedule to be on Gull.

Is the Forest Lake one a Jaycees event as well? I don't know I guess.
