Applebee’s is giving veterans a free meal for Veterans Day. I for one think this is great of them
The President of the restaurant chain is a vet himself and wanted to do this.

I am a third generation disabled vet, and I never felt like this country owed me a thing
I just wanted to do my part. Same as my father and grandfather did. I think I speak for many vets when I say; just hearing thank you for something you did is very nice. Especially when you where not looking for it you were just doing what you could.

On the other hand, the military is not for everybody. For many different reasons this I know.
There are many people out there like a friend of mine who never served in the military. However, he proudly displays VET/POW stickers on his van and fly’s a flag. He also truly appreciates what others have sacrificed for him and his family and tells them when a chance arises.

So I take this time to thank the people who support the veterans. The thing you do and say make just as big of a difference as the ones who joined. We are on the same team together and it does take all of us.

 Thank you   :USA:

I am not advertising for Applebee’s; I just think we should support people who support us

Are you a hunter or do you just kill things? Respect the wildlife!
