I was out tonight and it was 1 degree. I saw a nice doe and 2 fawns with her. Someone saw a nice buck just across the highway from me the other day. I'm guessing he doesn't come out tell after dark.

I was up along the North Shore on Friday.  I saw four nice sized does (or the same group of two does twice--hard to tell) between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Had 2 nice does and 4 smaller ones come out across the state park fence and wander into the oats field to graze just before dark. Only 30 to 75 yards out. Fun to watch. The deer seem to be moving just before dark around here. Still waiting for a buck otherwise will try for one of the nicer does this week.  :fudd:

Over the weekend, I started to see deer just before dark.
They are starting to come back out of the swamps and move back to the food plots.
Still very skittish, and will run back in if something is not to their liking.
I adjusted a few stand locations to trails that are being used more at night.

Hopefully, I'll be able to harvest another doe before season close.
