Looking for a reasonably priced game farm close to metro to continue my training on my 6 month female chocolate. Took her to SD early Dec and she did well. Want to keep her on birds a little longer. Any referrals would be appreciated. I live in SE metro.

How far do you want to drive?????  And how much are you looking to spend most game farms a pretty spendy per bird.  You can check the place in pine city.  Or there is one west of princeton off of hywy 95

I would like to keep the drive under an hour. I had a membership to a farm in Menomonie WI but let it expire. There non member prices were $25 per gun, $12-15 per bird. I was hoping to do better than that.

Lonsdale MN, I have been there a few times and Randy is a great guy with nice fields. Not your fancy gamefarm but its a good place. He has some training equiptment available for members and Greg from highflynkennels shows up on occasion to help out and give advise. Greg trained my dog.

I would definately recommend this place.

i work at a game farm(private) but i like going to Major avenue hunt club by glencoe right outside of biscay. most prices are the same at most of the game farms but some treat you like crap. these people are very friendly they put the birds out right infront of you so you know that they put them all out.(yes it does take some of the fun out of it but its nice knowing that they are putting out the birds that your paying for)

I agree cody.  I've been to major ave. gun club a few times both to talk and have Brian train a dog of mine.  Also, he was nice enough to take me on a "hunt" after helping him out of a situation.  If possible, see if you can get Brian to take you out.  His dog, Casey, is absolutely wonderful in the field and a pleasure to watch.  Casey is good enough where she even grabbed a chukar out of the air and retrieved it, still alive.
walleyes, pannies, esox, cats, I don't care, let's go fishing!!
