Vikings make a Trade for a new QB

i just got word from a friend who works for the vikings that they traded there 4th round draft pick to houston for Sage Rosenfels, they suppose to announce it later on.

competition at the QB spot would be good but I cant get excited about trading for another tryout until he proves something.

2 years 9 million for someones backup? Imagine if the economy was still booming maybe he could of got like 15. I sure hope he is better than his numbers I think his stats aint much better if at all than Tjack.

Now they need to move on Cutler since they have a better back-up now...   But I do think Sage is a better QB than T-Jack ever will be.... Cutler would be a real/legit starter that would actually give the vikes a threat besides their running game, and thats what they are STILL missing right now.....

I agree Cutler would be a good move, however he would be very expensive. He is a franchise type QB and gets paid like one I believe. They must have some faith in Sage for that kind of money. I thought they should go after someone like Warner for a one year deal and form a young QB personally. I also think Cutler is a pain in the locker room from what i have read. They should have went after Cassell but who knows maybe he only looked so good because of the talent around him.
