well walleye fishing has been on and off on tonka, I have been averageing 1 walleye a night, not bad but it would be nice if it was more steady! Last saturday we had 9 walleyes smallest 15.5-biggest 23.5 not bad -next night (4-7pm) 1 walleye next 2walleyes and so on!  the key to catching these fish is you need to be mobile, its very rare Im on one spot for more than 2 days! Theres still fish to be had before the season ends- look to sharp brakes with a inside turn the bottom should be around 20-35ft deep! Remember theres no snow on the ice (theres a lot of light) fishing wont start till 1-hr before sunset! unless you want a lot of Perch! Last night I switched geares and went crappie fishing ,me and my buddy had 18 -smallest was 11incher! Look to bays that have mud- silty bottoms (fish inside turns) with steep brakes this time of the year! Crappies are still in winter patterns and will be untill mid-to late aprill. Good  Fishing- Swede.
