well i have had this new 30-30 lever action mossberg model 464 for a few weeks now, went out to a 100 yrds range with a bench rest shooting 3 shot groups with factory buck horn sights. using hornady leverevalution 30-30 ammo after getting it sited in, i was hitting 1.5 and 2 inch groups with out any trouble. the rifle performed as i had hoped and did so smoothly.  my friend has the same rifle but his is scoped and he was able to get good groupings out to 200 yrds with the same ammo and with good terminal energy. hitting 3 shot groups with 3 to 4 inch spreds. all in all both rifles performed well and the hornady ammo has better then doubled the effective range of these rifles. i am really looking forward to next falls hunting season with this dandy rifle.
