Just saw in the RGS mag that Little Moran Hunt Club near Staples is having the RGS Chukar / Sporting clay shoot again May 16th. I did the event last spring and had a very good time, met allot of new and fun people, saw some good dogs and learned about this type of competition. There will be an RGS banquet Sat night with some silent auction items, great food and a favorite beverage. The fun with this hunt is both the chukar hunt and clays take place in a wooded area much like a grouse hunt. They are running both a pointing and flushing division with single hunter or team runs in each division. It's a good way to help the RGs and to get out after a long winter.
